  • Provide data on the profitability of the business by developing reporting that is useful and manageable by the business owner
  • Analyze the staff utilization rates, which reviews at what percent of their time is being billed        
  • Creating cash flow projections to understand future cash inflow, expenditures and profitability
  • Make sure Balance Sheet and Income Statement are complete and up to date
  • Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
  • Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
  • Make sure contracts are in place for work that is being performed by firm
  • Create documented system of accounting policies and procedures 
  • Review operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives
  • Review accounting operations of subsidiary corporations, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a system of controls over accounting 
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filing.
  • Helping the client understand what deductions are available to them to lower their yearly tax liability
  • Filling of Sales Tax in the State of California and other states will be researched as needed
  • Correspond with CPA on a yearly basis to get statements reviewed so taxes can be filed
